ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵੱਲੋ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਪਹਿਲਕਦਮੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਇੱਕ ਇਨ-ਹਾਊਸ ਆਰਟੀਫੀਸ਼ੀਅਲ ਇੰਟੈਲੀਜੈਂਸ ਅਤੇ ਮਸ਼ੀਨ ਲਰਨਿੰਗ ਲੈਬ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਆਈ.ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਰੋਪੜ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ‘ਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਤਕਨੀਕੀ ਖੋਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੇ ਆਧੁਨਿਕੀਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਰਾਹ ਪੱਧਰਾ ਕਰੇਗਾ।
