ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ AGTF-ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਆਪ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਤਹਿਤ ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ.ਨਗਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਬੰਬੀਹਾ ਗੈਂਗ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਸਾਥੀਆਂ ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਗੋਰਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਜੇ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਸਫਲਤਾ ਹਾਸਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਅਵਤਾਰ ਗੋਰਾ ਗੈਂਗਸਟਰ ਗੁਰਬਖਸ਼ ਸੇਵੇਵਾਲ ਦਾ ਕਰੀਬੀ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੈ। ਅਵਤਾਰ ਸਨਸਨੀਖੇਜ਼ ਦੋਹਰੇ ਕਤਲ ਕਾਂਡ ਦਾ ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਹੈ।
ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਮੁਢਲੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਤੋਂ ਪਤਾ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਗੈਂਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਲੌਜਿਸਟਿਕਸ ਸਪੋਰਟ, ਛੁਪਣਗਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਵਿਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਸਨ।ਬੰਬੀਹਾ ਗੈਂਗ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਖ਼ਤਰਨਾਕ ਵਾਰਦਾਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੰਜਾਮ ਦੇਣ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ।
ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਦੋਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਕੋਲੋ 4 ਪਿਸਤੌਲ ਅਤੇ 16 ਜਿੰਦਾ ਕਾਰਤੂਸ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।

Avtar @ Gora is a close associate of Gangster Gurbax Sewewal
Avtar is an accused in sensational double murder case and was absconding since. He has been declared a proclaimed offender in 2 criminal cases by the Hon’ble Courts.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that both the arrested accused were involved in providing logistics support, hideouts and weapons to the members of the Bambiha gang and were planning to commit sensational crime in the state.
Recovered 4 Pistols and 16 live cartridges.
