A free medical camp along with blood donation camp and Gurmat Smagam was organised at Guru Teg bahadur Sahib Charitable Hospital, Model town Ludhiana to mark the martyrdom day of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji (Hind di Chadar)
The camp was inaugurated by Shri Gurpreet Bassi (Gogi Ji) MLA Ludhiana west and blood donation camp was inaugurated by Smt. Surabhi Malik ji (IAS).
Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana. Shri Gurpreet Bassi (Gogi Ji) MLA, and Smt. Surabhi Malik ji (IAS) complemented the management and faculty for the yeoman service being
rendered by the institute for the poor and destitute since decades.
S. Amardeep Singh Bakshi Ji, president managing Society GTBH informed that
the hospital has specialities in all clinical fields and several super specialities. The hospital too has diagnostic facilities. The management is whole heartedly committed to upgrade the hospital to deliever state of the art health care.
S. Baljeet Singh Makkar Vice president said that six hundred forty patients were given free medicines and over thousands tests were done free of cost. The free medicines were sponsored by Philanthropist S. Pritpal singh Sethi. Fifteen units of blood were collected from donors in assosciation with Bhai Ghaniya Ji sewa society
Dr. Harish Sehgal the medical director, during the welcome address said though the GTBH is charitable institute. It’s standard has been accredited to the NABH level.
He reiterated the mission of the hospital as regards delieveing competent compassionate health care at affordable cost. Several prominent citizens of Ludhiana were present on the occasion.
